About Me

You clicked on this tab because you are wondering who I am or you already know who I am and are wondering what kind of modest things I am going to insert in my “About Me” section.

I am not very good at describing who I am. I am more comfortable with the limited characters that Instagram and Twitter give.  I like that I can also describe myself through emoticons and acronyms, but I think this is supposed to be longer, so here we go.

I’m from the Lone Start State. That’s Texas for those that don’t know. I’ve grown up on the Gulf Coast my whole life. I followed in my mother’s footsteps and I am a top notch domesticated engineer. I am married to the love of my life and we have 5 children between the both of us.  We are a blended family.  I like to be on the water. I love to cruise, hate to fly, like to be at the beach, float the river, and snorkel. I also like hiking and stargazing.

Cooking zens me.  I’m not afraid to BBQ. I cannot go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink or my closet door open.  When I fold towels, the detail of the towels all have to be folded on the inside so that it’s hidden.  I’m not afraid to get dirty or bait my own hook.  I was once stranded at sea for 5 days with no power or working restrooms/showers after there was an engine fire on our cruise ship.

I’m certified in PiYo and Fitness Nutrition.

I have Lyme Disease that went undiagnosed for about 20 years. You can read about that on my other blog Taking Mine With A Twist of Lyme.

I hope you enjoy my entries as much as enjoy sharing them with you.
